OU student found dead
by   |  August 19, 2008  |

An OU student died Saturday of unknown causes.

The body of Robert Henry Miracle, a 28-year-old botany senior, was discovered by his mother.

“He was alone and I found him,” Miracle’s mother, Allene McDonald, said. McDonald refused to comment on where she found her son’s body.

“It wasn’t a murder. It’s not a suicide,” said McDonald. “He was dead.”

The Norman Police Department responded to the scene and sent Miracle’s body to the State Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death, Norman police Capt. Tom Easley said.

Easley refused to comment further because the case is still under investigation.

A funeral service for Miracle will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Tuttle Assembly of God. Services will be handled by Eisenhower Funeral Home in Blanchard.
