Man with gun threatens local hotel

An unidentified man went to the OU Motel on Classen Street Thursday and threatened to shoot a guest at the motel.Lieutenant Shelton was the commanding officer that responded to the call."Basically, the man was at the hotel and threatened to shoot someone," Shelton said.The man of an unknown age got into his car and fled police. Officers pulled him over at the OU Golf Course around 11:30 p.m. and took the man into custody. After searching his car, officers found the rifle that the man had used as a weapon.When officers pulled the man over he had a seizure and had to be taken to Norman Regional Hospital to be checked out. The man will be put into detention at Cleveland County Jail.
