Genocide protest forgot about slaughtered Iraqis

I'm curious as to what the students protesting the genocide felt about the genocide of those slaughtered by Saddam. Did they feel the same remorse for the people of the Kurdish villages? In the article, Cooper said, "...We didn't have permission to go into Iraq, so what's stopping us from going into Darfur?"

Didn't catch this article referred to in the letter? Check the link at the bottom of the letter.

Well, the answer is because the American public wasn't fond of our unilateral action against Iraq. The American Public needs to make up its mind. Handing out leaflets to encourage letters to elected officials is nice and all, but if they want the military to stop bad men from doing bad things, then they (liberal media) need to stop spinning every world event against our leaders (Senate, House and especially president).

Imagine if Cooper protested going into Iraq without U.N. sanctions, and now he says we shouldn't wait for the U.N. to go into Darfur because that's how we went into Iraq.

Make up your mind. Giving food and medicine to people who can't get it because the warlords take the supplies isn't going to cut it.

If America wants to keep complaining about the plights of other people, they need to get the stomach for what it takes to right the wrongs.
