Robert De Niro diagnosed with prostate cancer
Robert De Niro's publicist announced Monday that the 60-year-old Oscar winner has prostate cancer, according to an Entertainment Weekly news report.
Doctors discovered the potentially life-threatening disease in its early phases, said publicist Stanley Rosenfeld.
Eminem lawsuit ruling moves judge to rhyme
A judge in Mount Clemens, Mich., has dismissed a defamation lawsuit filed by a former schoolmate of rapper Eminem, and she included a rap of her own to explain the ruling.
In a footnote to the opinion issued Friday, Judge Deborah Servitto added a 10-stanza rhyme, The Macomb Daily reported.
The verse stated, in part: "It is therefore this Court's ultimate position, that Eminem is entitled to summary disposition."
J-Lo to produce talk show starring her sister
Jennifer Lopez has reached an agreement with Universal Television to produce a one-hour talk show.
The series will aim to launch in the fall of 2004 and will feature an ensemble of female hosts lead by Lopez's sister Lydia, a television and radio host. The show will skew toward younger women and will focus on pop culture, celebrities, beauty and fashion.
