Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Event to be held in Meacham Auditorium. The OU Gospel Choir will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by keynote speaker, Rev. Dr. James Forbes at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Forbes of the Riverside Church, New York City, is one of the most recognized preachers in the English-speaking world. A candlelight vigil will be held at 8:00 p.m. This event sponsored by: United Ministry Center, Alpha Phi Alpha, OU African and African American Studies, OU Religious Studies, OU Speakers Bureau and Union Programming Board.
