Column: Close season on boo birds
Thou shalt not murder. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors goods. Thou shalt not worship any false idols. Last time I checked, thou shalt not boo thy opponent at a sporting event was not one of the Ten Commandments.
There is nothing wrong or unsportsmanlike about fans booing an opponent. Booing has been around as long as our national pastimes and will continue long after any of us are around.
