International students face special enrollment requirements
International exchange students cannot enroll online, unlike other OU students.
Exchange students would have a hard time if they tried to enroll online, said Karen Elmore, study abroad adviser. Some courses have prerequisites and the OU computer database does not know which courses exchange students have taken.
Michael Morris, assistant director of the International Exchange Programs office, said the following things must be remembered during the enrollment process:
