OU President David Boren is in Russia today to release a study by a task force of the EastWest Institute on U.S.-Russia relations.
Boren co-chaired the task force with former Sens. Alan Simpson and Jack Danforth. Boren was the longest-serving chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee.
During his brief stay in Moscow, Boren will meet with close advisers to Russian President Vladimir Putin, be interviewed by Russia's leading newspapers, appear on prime time national television programs and appear with John Mroz, president of the EastWest Institute, at a news conference with Russian journalists before returning to Oklahoma.
