James Gallogly expresa apoyo de comunidad LGBTQ durante entrevista con The Gayly

James Gallogly expresó apoyo de programas LGBTQ en el campus y la continuación de una cultura inclusiva en OU, según The Gayly

 Durante una entrevista con medio LGBTQ The Gayly, Gallogly afirmó que continuará apoyando a estudiantes LGBTQ.

"Ustedes (la comunidad LGBTQ) no deberían preocuparse por esto," dijo Gallogly a The Gayly. "Tenemos una sociedad inclusiva en nuestra universidad."

Gallogly dijo durante la entrevista que continuaría apoyando a grupos como el 'LGBTQ Program Advisory Board' y el centro de 'OU Gender + Equality.'

"Yo pienso que todos somos diferentes en nuestras maneras, y todos merecen ser tratados con respeto," dijo Gallogly a The Gayly. "Todos somos únicos. Eso es algo increíble, personalmente."

El presidente en salida David Boren apoyaba programas LGBTQ en el campus durante su tiempo en la universidad, como la fundación de una sala LGBTQ y la creación de la Oficina de la Comunidad Universitaria.

Gallogly sucederá a Boren el 1ro de Julio.
