Allen Strickland Williams, a comedian well-known for his appearances on shows such as Conan, will host a show at the Opolis.

Opolis is a local Norman bar and concert venue that hosts poetry readings, comedy shows, and concerts.

Opolis has hosted comedy nights in the past, such as a Robot Saves City live recording, and has showcased other local comics.

Three other local comedians, Steve Wampus Reynolds, Jenny Godwin and Heath Huffman, will perform sets prior to Williams’. This will be Williams’ first show in Oklahoma, as well as his first tour overall.

“You should expect really cool college appropriate humor,” Williams said.

The event costs $8 at the door and is an 18+ show. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m. on Jan. 23, at Opolis located at 113 N. Crawford Ave.
